Stefan Höfer, PhD, is Associate Professor at the Innsbruck Medical University, Austria. Since 2000 his main research focus is on quality of life in cardiovascular disease, the development and application of patient-reported outcome measures, factors influencing subjective, psychological and personal well-being as well as positive psychology. He is director of the postgraduate curriculum “clinical and health-psychology” for the western region of Austria.
He is co-chair of the Austrian Federation of Psychologists, Section Tirol, and since 2013 co-convenor of the EFPA standing committee on Psychology and Health.

Christel Salewski, Germany
Christel Salewski, PhD, is Professor of Psychology at the Fern Universität in Hagen (Germany), and the Chair in Health Psychology. She is also a registered clinical psychologist. In her research, she investigates coping in the context of stress and chronic illness, with a particular emphasis on illness perceptions and coping processes in families and couples. Dr. Salewski was active as a member of the EC of the European Health Psychology Society and the Health Psychology Section of the German Psychological Society.
